When we hear that the Sultan Shindig is coming to town, many things come to mind. Rides, logging games, food, food, food, antique car show, motorcycles, parties, etc., but the last thing people usually will think about is Jesus. Well, not the last few years anyways thanks to several local churches who come together and have church at 10 am at the Gazebo in downtown Sultan pretty much on Highway 2.
So if you want to come and join the town of Sultan for worship and a great word — head on down to Sultan, Washington, be there by 10 am, and start your day off with a bang! If you've never heard of Jesus, or maybe you just want to know more about Him — come on down. Everyone is welcome.
I am so proud to be apart of a community of Believers that come together in such a way for our community, and just plain flat out love on people. I LOVE IT! I'm so excited to go this year. I haven't been able to go in years past, so this will be my first time.
If you have no idea where Sultan, Washington is — google it, map it, get it? got it? good!! :-) So then, after you've started your day off with the Lord, then you get to go on and do some shopping, maybe try some of the local eats, go on some rides (maybe before you eat tho, just for the sake of the other guests!), and get entertained by the logging contests. They really are fun to watch!
